Simple Cleaning Tips
Fake grass is easy to keep looking neat with a few regular habits. Dallas Landscape & Irrigation recommends rinsing the surface occasionally to remove dust, pollen, and light debris. For leaves and twigs, use a leaf blower or a plastic rake to lift material without damaging the blades.
For Spots and Stains
- Dog waste: Pick up solid waste right away, then rinse the area with water.
- Food or drink spills: Blot the spill and wash with mild soap and water.
- Sticky residue: Use warm water and a soft cloth; avoid harsh chemicals.
Avoid: wire brushes, petroleum-based cleaners, and power washing at close range, since these can wear down the turf fibers or backing.
Routine brushing can also help keep the blades upright and the surface looking fresh. If you want advice on turf care or are considering a new project, Dallas Landscape & Irrigation can help. Request an estimate to get started.
